By participating in the McAfee affiliate program, you hereby agree to the
following, and agree to flow down these terms to any sub-affiliate:

No reverse engineering. You will not make unauthorized modifications,
reverse engineer, disassemble, decompile or attempt to derive source
code of McAfee products.
No hacking. You agree not to hack, abuse, adversely interfere with, infect
with viruses, worms or other malicious or destructive code, or use or
cause to be used in extraordinary and unreasonable or inappropriate
ways or amounts, any resources provided by McAfee.
No spam. You may not use any tracking links in any electronic message
unless any and all such electronic messages comply in all respects with
this Agreement, the Network Advertisers terms and conditions, and any
and all applicable foreign, national, federal, state, local or provincial laws
prohibiting or restricting the delivery of unsolicited electronic
communications, also known as SPAM. Further, no electronic message
initiated or sent by you or on your behalf may identify McAfee, except as
expressly authorized by McAfee, a sender or sponsor of such electronic
message.

No interference. You may not, through downloadable or other technology,
replace, intercept, redirect, block, alter or otherwise interfere with the full
functioning and intended actions of any tracking links that has been
placed or distributed by another network publisher including any action
that would in any way prevent the behavior or result that would occur or
would have occurred had an end user activated such tracking links
without your interference.
No infringing uses. You may not use any name, trademark, service mark,
domain name or other intellectual property rights of any third party in
connection with your use of any tracking links, the network or any other
product offerings, in any way or for any purpose that infringes or violates
any intellectual property rights or other rights of such third party, whether
for the purpose of increasing the levels of tracked activities attributable to
your tracking links or for any other purpose.
No fraud, abuse. You will not, and will not knowingly permit other persons
to, engage in any fraudulent, abusive or illegal activity in connection with
your participation in the program,
No bidding on McAfee SEM brand keywords. Terms that apply to
promoting McAfee branded terms including but not limited to McAfee,
McAfee Total Protection, McAfee Antivirus Plus or McAfee Gamers
Security. Any partner who bids on McAfee branded search engine traffic
may be terminated from the Program. Negative matching for McAfee
brand keywords is required and use of McAfee name in display URL is
forbidden.
No linking of search ads to McAfee official website and no use of McAfee
brand terms in ad text. Text ads may not directly link from search engine
marketing campaigns to any landing page not provided to you by McAfee.
You may not use any official McAfee domains in ad text or claim to be
McAfee or any of the McAfee official eStores. You must only use supplied
promotions, discounts and links to promote McAfee through search
engine marketing and may not lift promotions from other sites or directly
from any McAfee website, unless approval is obtained from McAfee
and/or its program manager. Any promotional ad text or campaign
deemed to be inaccurate or misleading by McAfee and/or its program
manager must be removed / updated on request. For any clarification on
these terms, please contact your McAfee program manager.
No use of prohibited website domain keywords. You will not engage in
typo-squatting or own a typo domain. Domain names must not include or
use misspellings of either "McAfee", “www.McAfee.com” or any other
McAfee trademarks. Misspellings of domains include those with missing
characters, extra characters, wrong character sequences, and where the
wrong key is pressed, e.g. www.mcaffe.com etc. You are not to own a
domain which includes a McAfee trademark or registered trademark.
Domains containing the registered trademark "McAfee" are strictlyprohibited.

You are not to use sites under construction, sites that show or
cause any type of error, doorway pages, sites or pages with automatic
redirects. You are not to operate or utilize a website, or email a link to a
website, which contains or promotes the following types of content:
libelous, defamatory, obscene, abusive, violent, bigoted, hate-related,
illegal, cracking, hacking, anti-brand messaging or that offer illegal goods
or services. You are not to use copycat sites, or use any content or images
from any McAfee websites, except for content and images which have
been expressly allowed for use by you. You may use the links and/or
banner ads McAfee provides to you only in the form in which they are
provided. You must not hardcode creative/logos but should use those
supplied in the affiliate network interface. You are not to use a website
that is confusingly similar to the official McAfee website, or which may
mislead third parties into thinking the Affiliate is McAfee or an official
partner of McAfee. This includes copying and framing any of the McAfee
web pages. You further agree not to promote itself in a way that may
mislead third parties into thinking it is McAfee or an official partner of
McAfee.
No use of prohibited website content. You will comply with McAfee
's trademark policy and brand guidelines, copywriting and other
intellectual property criteria and requirements. For a copy of criteria and
requirements, please contact your McAfee Affiliate Team. You will
acknowledge that McAfee owns and will retain all rights, titles, and
interests in all McAfee content, including, without limitation, any
proprietary rights which may be developed in the future. Use of McAfee
content applies exclusively to the benefit of McAfee, and you obtain no
rights to McAfee content through use thereof. You are not to operate or
utilize a website, or email a link to a website, which contains or promotes
the following types of content to promote McAfee: libellous, defamatory,
obscene, abusive, violent, bigoted, hate-related, illegal, cracking, hacking,
anti-brand messaging or that offer illegal goods or services.
No use of unacceptable websites. You are not to use copycat sites, or use
any content or images from any McAfee websites, except for content and
images which have been expressly allowed for use by Affiliate partners.
You may use the links and/or banner ads McAfee provides to you only in
the form in which they are provided subject to the limitations contained
herein.
No SMS and MMS. Short message service and multimedia messaging
services are not allowed to promote McAfee.
No push notifications unless pre-approved by McAfee. Push notifications
are not allowed unless you receive explicit approval from McAfee and/or
the program manager in writing. Approval is not guaranteed, and all
participating affiliates are required to follow creative imagery and
messaging guidelines listed within this agreement and any other
guidelines provided to you by McAfee and/or the program managers.

No use of multiple partner IDs simultaneously to promote McAfee. You
may only use one publisher ID at a given time to promote McAfee offers.
You will not circumvent this guideline by creating a secondary publisher
ID within with our program management platforms to promote McAfee
under multiple sources. You are allowed to add sub-sources to your
publisher profile within our program if referral URLs are provided for each
source.
You must follow coupon guidelines. You and sources will follow below
guidelines when using coupons or promotional codes to promote McAfee
offers:
a) You may ONLY advertise coupon codes that are
provided to you through the affiliate program.
b) Posting any information about how to work around
the requirements of a coupon/promotion (e.g., first time
customers only) will result in removal from the program.
c) Coupons must be displayed in their entirety with the
full offer, valid expiration date and code.
d) You may NOT advertise coupon codes obtained from
non-affiliate advertising, customer emails, paid search, or
any other campaign.
Affiliates whose primary business is posting coupons, who are viewed by
the program as being a coupon site, and/or who are tagged as a coupon
affiliate in our system, must receive explicit approval from McAfee and/or
the program manager prior to promotion. Upon approval, affiliate will
receive access to a unique tracking link through which all promotion of
coupons or promotional codes must be relayed. Affiliates may not be paid
commissions for sales generated without a corresponding valid coupon
code and tracking link. Valid codes are defined as codes that are made
available to the affiliate channel in general, through newsletters or the
respective section in your affiliate interface, and directly or privately to
affiliates. Coupon codes that are not real, expired, not specific (e.g., ‘up to
50% off sale items’) or are long-term, sitewide offers that do not require a
code may not be considered valid codes and the affiliate will not be paid
commission on these orders.
You must follow incentivized traffic guidelines. You must provide visibility
to McAfee of the incentives offered to audiences when promoting McAfee
offerings. Offerwalls offering gift cards to customers while promoting
McAfee are not allowed without explicit prior approval from McAfee
and/or the program managers.
You must regularly screen traffic sources. Traffic sources must ensure
traffic sources follow guidelines contained within this agreement. You and

sources will follow below guidelines for ongoing program performance
evaluation on a cohort basis:
(a) Monitor traffic analysis & quality for fraudulent bot traffic, non-geo
traffic, fraudulent fingerprinting, other online tech scam traffic.
(b) Monitor refunds rate and chargeback rates.
(c) Monitor product install rates and uninstall rates as provided to
you.
(d) Monitor subscriber quality including New vs Repeat customers,
dual subscriptions.
(e) Monitor applicable spend caps. McAfee reserves the right to place
spend caps at the individual publisher level. If implemented, any
spend exceeding the cap will not be honored and commissions will be
reversed. Spend caps can be set by email.
You must follow creative imagery and messaging guidelines. You may
not use any language that is inherently false or misleading, including but
not limited to the following terms which are not approved for use within
creative imagery or messaging:
"Expire"; “Expired”; "Renew"; "Enable"; "Infected"; “Exposed”; “Update”;
“Updates”
Creative or messaging that may scare or confuse audiences by leading
viewers to believe their devices are infected is not allowed. Creative or
messaging that leads viewers to believe their antivirus (or other security)
protection is expired is not allowed.
You will not:
(a) Not imitate or falsely represent McAfee identity via color themes,
font, etc.
(b) Not use email captured via McAfee programs to target customers.
(c) Not use tracking pixels on McAfee sites to retarget users for
McAfee or other companies.
(d) Adhere to McAfee’s brand safety guidelines, for example, not to
place McAfee Ads on illicit, animal cruelty, etc.
You will follow guidelines when promoting on social media. You will
follow brand guidelines contained within this agreement when promoting
McAfee on social media outlets.

No email is allowed unless explicitly approved by McAfee. Company, its
affiliates and sub-affiliates, are not allowed to send emails unless explicitly
pre-approved by McAfee and the Program Manager in writing. Approval is
not guaranteed, and all participating affiliates and sub-affiliates are
required to follow email requirements, guidelines and any processes
approved in writing by McAfee. If approval is provided, emails must follow
guidelines listed in this agreement and any other guidelines provided to
you by McAfee and/or the program managers. McAfee may terminate or

withdraw approval from any but not limited to, partner, affiliate, or sub-
affiliate at any time.

Affiliate Email Marketing Guidelines
Email marketing is not permitted unless McAfee and/or the program
manager has provided authorization to use email or other electronic
messages to promote it or its tracking links. If approved, emails
promoting McAfee must be the following requirements:

Requirements:
1) Special T&C’s and Opt-out Verbiage – we must include opt out
language from McAfee. Please see the Important Terms and Offer Details
below. These are required to be included in the footer of all email sends in
addition to your own opt-out verbiage.
2) The email cannot appear to come from a McAfee email address. It must
be transparent to the recipient where the source originated. For example,
in the From line, it cannot list McAfee.
3) No spam tactics. Any evidence of spamming or non-compliance in the
program may result in expulsion from the program and all commissions
associated with the account may be reversed according to program terms.
4) It must clearly state/indicate that this is a 3rd party email source. The
language below should accommodate as well as the From line.
5) Do not use scare tactics or language that would confuse users like
“expired”, “renew” or “reactivation” language.
