Mindvalley is one of the world’s leading personal transformation and online learning platforms. The company is based in Malaysia and has grown to become a prominent player in the field of self-improvement and education. Mindvalley offers a wide range of courses and programs designed to help individuals enhance various aspects of their lives, including personal growth, health and wellness, relationships, and career development.

Objective

As the flagship brand in the field of personal growth, wellbeing and spirituality education, Mindvalley was looking for disruptive ways of customer acquisition. It built a highly successful affiliate program and was looking for a number of key partners to further scale.  In 2022 Mindvalley decided to work closely with Indoleads, inspired by its success in English speaking countries’ affiliate market. 

Approach

Indoleads team took a full-funnel approach when attracting existing and onboarding new affiliates to ensure the brand’s target audience would ultimately convert and drive increased customer lifetime value. 

The team added a variety of promotional materials, e.g. landing pages to certain courses, a promo banner inside the dashboard featuring the offer to attract new pubs. Indoleads publishers, including deal and loyalty sites, influencers and media buyer specialists, started driving traffic to Mindvalley. A part of the strategy was also offering publishers highly-favorable terms of cooperation: for each new user acquisition, a publisher would receive a competitive rate. 

Results

Just in 6 months, this educational brand saw a 430% MoM user acquisition growth rate with  almost 1,000 users having purchased Mindvalley subscription plans. As a result of Mindvalley’s competitive commission rates and high converting funnels, initial expenses for publishers’ commissions which grew towards 5-figure monthly amounts are recuperated by the monetization potential of new users. The Indoleads team is eager to continue scaling with this longstanding client while maximizing the ROI of their affiliate program. The results of this program are a success for both publishers, for whom cooperating with a big personal transformation brand in the education space increased their revenues and built credibility, and for Mindvalley, who acquired new users.
